The Garden Valley Difference: It’s All About the Base
Most interlocking failures across the GTA happen because of what is under the stone. While many contractors use stone dust (limestone screenings) to save costs, this material holds water, causes "white chalky" efflorescence, and fails during the harsh Ontario freeze-thaw cycle.
Since 2018, we have standardized the Clear Stone Base method. We refuse to use stone dust as a base or bedding layer. Instead, we use high-performance clear stone to ensure maximum stability and longevity for your investment.
